Liverpool Airport by Coach

National Express operates regular national services to Liverpool city centre. Destinations include London, Manchester, Leeds, Chester and Newcastle. They also have connections available with the Arriva 700 service from Manchester Central Coach station or Manchester airport.

You can travel to anywhere in the UK 24 hours a day with National Express from Liverpool Airport with many direct services. Timetables and destinations can be obtained on the National Express website

It is advisable to book long-distance coach tickets in advance and National express have removed the booking fee for all coaches when you purchase your tickets online.

Liverpool Airport by Train

Nearby Hunts Cross, Garston and Runcorn stations all have frequent services to Liverpool city station.

Hunts Cross is the nearest station to the airport, and Airlink bus services operate between all three stations and the
airport itself.

From Liverpool, onward services to Birmingham, Manchester, London Euston and intermediate stations can be caught.

Liverpool Airport by Bus

Terravision Shuttle

Liverpool Airport is served by many bus services, including a Terravision shuttle bus between Liverpool airport and Manchester city centre for just £6 one way and £8 return. Departing from just outside the arrivals hall near the Yellow Submarine and from Manchester at either Sackville Street or Shudehill Interchange.

The duration of the journey is just 50 minutes to or from Sackville Street and 60 minutes to or from Shudehill interchange. Buses depart in relation to flight departures and arrivals so you will always be on time when you book your shuttle bus ahead of your journey.

MerseyTravel operates regular services between Liverpool airport and the city centre.

The 500, 80A/180 and 82A/82B services all run into the city itself.

Airlink services also operate to the three nearest stations.
