Runway Run at Liverpool John Lennon Airport
On Friday the 8th of May, the Liverpool John Lennon Airport will host a 5k Runway Run all in the name of charity!
The Runway Run at Liverpool John Lennon Airport has been organised by the staff at the airport with the sponsored support of Liverpool Airport Holidays. The overall goal of the event is to raise funds for the airport’s corporate charity partner, The Alder Hey Children’s Charity, who take care of an average of 330,000 patients and families a year.
The event consists of a 5km course, involving the use of the airport’s 2km runway, which will also set the record for the longest runway used in a charity run.
